Green screen tutorial

In my lesson we turned how to use the green screen in an very effective way.
in this lesson i turned that if while we are behind the green screen we should not wear anything green because it will disappear when you are editing. Also do not wear anything black because the green will blend in with it. Also do not film with frizzy hair because you'll have bits of green between the bits that are coming out.
Additionally if you want your legs in the video as well you need to pull the greeen screen all the way down and stand on it so it is easier to edit. Furthmore dont move the camera too much because you might get bits if the rrom in the shot because the green screen isn't very large.
In this tutorial i also turned about Adobe after effects, which is what you use to put effects or a different location in the background.

Below i found a video on youtube which explains how to use Adobe after effects

Vladimir Propp (research)

Vladimir Propp was a russian and a soviet formalist  scholar who analysed the basic blot components of russian folk tales to identify  their similar irreducible narrative elements.
Vladimir Propp’s Theory in detail

CHARACTERS
1. The hero (seeks something)
2. The villain (opposes the hero)
3. The donor (helps the hero by providing a magic object)
4. The dispatcher (sends the hero on his way)
5. The false hero (falsely assuming the role of hero)
6. The helper (gives support to the hero)
7. The princess (the reward for the hero but also needs to be
protected from the villain
8. Her father

NARRATIVE FUNCTIONS
Preparation (or 1st sphere: the introductory sequence)
P1. A member of the family leaves home
P2. A prohibition or rule is imposed on the hero
P3. The prohibition or rule is broken
P4. The villain makes and attempt at reconnaissance
P5. The villain learns something about his victim
P6. The villain tried to deceive the victim to get possession of
his/her belongings
P7. The victim unknowingly helps the villain by being deceived or
influenced by the villain

Complication (or 2nd sphere: The body of the story)
C1. The villain harms a member of the family
C2. A member of the family lacks or desires something
C3. This lack or misfortune is made known; the hero is given a
request or a command and he goes on a mission or quest
C4. The seeker (often the hero) plans action against the villain

Transference (or 3rd sphere: The donor sequence (magic agent is
obtained)
T1. The hero leaves home
T2. The hero is tested, attached, interrogated and, as a result,
receives either a magical agent or a helper
T3. The Hero reacts to the actions of the future donor
T4. The hero uses the magical agent
T5. The hero is transferred to the general location of the object of
his mission or quest
Struggle (or 4th sphere: The hero’s return

Final song (planning)

The song my group and i decided to do for our video is Scorcher - It's my time. This video is very inspirational because of the lyrics and the video which is saying we should try our best and it will all work out in the end. Our video will differ from this because we are planning to use completely different locations and props. We are also planning to film at night and day which is different from the video which was mainly only filmed at night except towards the end but you dont really see the day light , this will be different in our video. Additionally we are planning to film outside and maybe get the public involved with the chorus. Also we might add abit of humour in to it for example everytime it says its my time we see a clock or a watch.

Shortlist of potiential songs ( planning)

Shortlist of potiential songs:

Devlin - community outcass. We didnt choose this because it gets boring after awhile. However the video is very affective.

Devlin - London town. This was dismissed because again the video was strong however the lyrics are just to fast to keep the lip syncing perfect.

Loick Essien - Love drunk. This was a strong contender lyrically wise however we couldnt really see how we would make a video to really support the video because the video in the orignal song is very simple and it works however its very boring.

and finally Giggs - Look what the cat dragged in. We decided not to do with because we wanted to go with a more upbeat song which this wasn't. It was quite dark but not depressing.

Andrew Goodwin

Goodwin believes that traditional narrative analyses doesn't apply to pop videos. He thinks pop videos approach narrative from different angle to novels and films. It has different narrative structures because firstly pop videos are built around songs and often songs do not pose traditional narrative structures, also the pop video uses the singer both as narrator and as a character and lastly the singer often looks directly at the camera and tries to involve the viewer at home with the performance.

DISJUNCTURE: (connection between the lyrics and video)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDMhlvbOFaM&ob=av2e

This video is about how the man is in prison but is questioning if his girlfriend is still there for him. The video doesnt connect to the lyrics as it shows him on the phone speaking all the lyrics to her.

ILLUSTRATION: (video tells the story of lyrics)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uelHwf8o7_U&ob=av3e

This video tells the story of a stressful relationship, where the boyfriend and girlfriend have problems. They are expressing their feelings and how they have been hurt and how they are fed up with it all now.
AMPLIFICATION: (meaningful values)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8z_5ZtPzWI

This video has a meaningful value as the singer is stating he is back from prison and he is back in roll. He states that beating up haters is not worth it and asks god for forgiveness.

Music Video Analysis

I have chosen the song 'Hooligans- by Griminal.'

NARRATIVE: This song tells the story from a girls point of view. In this video the boys are trying to flirt with her but shes not having it and saying 'them boys are hooligans.' She doesnt like the way they are acting towards her and shes letting them know, directly shes rejecting them, 'pinches my bum and i'm looking at him like, eh waaaaah.' The boys are thinking theres something wrong with her as they dont get rejected and shes being unique to the others.

GENRE: The genre of this song is RnB, Hip-hop.

REPRESENTATION: This song is a representation of gender.
It presents the males as a 'girl magnet' but this specific girl isnt having their nonsense. The males seem as if they have to get the girls number, what they have their eyes on they have to get. It presents the female to 'play hard to get' to mess around with the minds of the men, she's saying she doesnt want him but in a way is leading the males on. The females not to be easy and to realise 'boys are hooligans.'

MEDIA LANGUAGE (camera & mise en scene): In this video their are a variety shots. There is an establishing shot of the whole scene, when they are walking up and down. There is closeup shots and midshots of the singers. There is high angle shots of the girls dancing. The mise en scene is a room which is empty but classy with the carpet and chair, (thrown) also the girl wears a crown which gives the audience the elegant look. It also gives us the sense of higher class then the males in the video, as the props on her are more expensive and gives the audience the sense of more money. Also there is a shot of her sitting on the thrown and the guy lifts her up and sits down, this is the idea of 'he can life her off her feet.'

EDIT: There is not much editing in this video, other then blending the shots in as there are many shots from different angles. All these shots make the video look more attractive to watch. There is a jump cut which goes from the girls point of view to the males point of view.

SOUND: The background instrumental is soft but not quiet, it has a loud beat but not as upbeat. The singers voice is on a normal level as if they are talking, and the song is calm and informal which makes the audience feel comfortable as the singers act how ordinary teenagers would act if they were in the scene.

Lip Synch Tutorial

During the lesson i was taught how to lip sync. This is to make our video more realistic, we sing the song just to get the lip movements then we cut out the sound and out the real song over it matching with the movement of the lips which makes out as if the person actually sang the song.

Firstly i was given a song with scenes from another person, there were alot of shots for example high angle shots, long angle shots, midshot, closeups and over the shoulder shots. I chose 'a word' from the song and the person performing and made that my marking point. So i marked the spot of the word and matched it up with the actualy song, which made the performers performance match up with the song to show they are actually singing it.

Through this activity i learnt how to mark spots in the song. I learnt how to match it up with the actual song without it looking dogey and realistic. My skills on final cut pro have improved and I have a better knowledge on how to handle it.
The task was not challenging, in my opinion i would say it was more exciting getting and experience to use a differerent software. But matching up the song with the performance was abit tricky because at times the performer was slower than the actual singer of the song, so to solve this problem I was told to cut it and slot in the other shots which made the video more professional.
On final cut pro I learnt how to use different tools, like the marking tool, inputs and outputs and blending the shots in with the whole song.
Looking at the editing of music songs it differs from the editing of the thriller films. Editing music videos are easier as you only focus on 'one thing' (one word) and just by putting it in place with that it does all the work and puts the whole song in place. And if it doesnt you can always put different shots to blend it. On the other hand, thriller videos have to blend in so noone can tell a difference and you need a lot of shots to make it more exciting to watch. But both editings are very interesting and helps discover new softares and techniques.

Students Music Video Task

In this lesson, we analysed previous A2 student's work, in order to gain a proper understanding of how to do it ourselves.
One that I particularly liked was Adam, Lisa, Nasima & Sayvita's work, who made a music video to the song "Everybody Needs" by VV Brown.
They had a variety of shots, such as mid-shots, close up, extreme close up, in different locations, which make the music video somewhat interesting. The lip syncing was pretty accurate, which probably made this easier to edit. With the music video being black and white, this allowed them to incorporate the red edit of "love" into it, which made the video more interesting. I liked the shots where they involved the public and other people, by getting them to hold up signs that had the memorable parts of the lyrics on "Everybody needs you and needs me". I think the video could have been more dynamic as it seems most of the shots were taking using a tripod, this was what i think was their down fall. If they had of used more handheld this would have looked a lot better, however i do understand that handheld is pretty hard to carry off. Overall the music video was pretty good.

Student music video's (research)

Student music video's

In this lesson we looked at last years A2's music videos and the one i liked the most was Wings. This is because they had a huge variety of shots types and angel. The strength of the video is that they were very creative in the layout of the video. The genre of this video was Indie, personally this is not my type of music but because of the way it was films the use of time manipulation and the how it is structured on the screen, made me want to carry on watching. There isn't any real weakness in this video, however if i  am being really critical a weakness is there could have been more shot . Another strength is they made the video look very home made but this work very well because it matched the song of him thinking about when he had his girlfriend.

If you apply Andrew Goodwin's theory  it would apply to they video because:
  • Pop videos appoach narrative from different views to novels and films.
  • Pop videos are based around songs and often do not portrays traditional narrative structures.
  • Artist are used as narrator and as a character
  • Artist often looks directly into the camera. This is to interact with the audience.
Finally this video would fall under illustration because the video tells the story of a guy reminiscing of the good times with his girlfriend but they've broken up now which matches with the lyrics.

Lip Sync Tutorial

In this activity we learnt how to lip sync, then how to match this with the actual track. In order to match the video with the audio, it meant that the person lip syncing had to know the lyrics in order for this to be done. Our teacher told us the best way to do this, was to actually sing the song, rather than mime it, as it gives a more naturalist feel.

We were given the song "Boggie Nights" to recreate.

What did you find most challenging?
I found it hard to use the camera handheld, as for a music video it is best not to use a tripod. I found this tricky as you had to be really still and to take smooth shots, as you had to be able to quickly move the camera to wherever the person was going. Especially if they were moving fast or jumping around, it was hard to take smooth clean shots of this.

What new tools did you learn on Final Cut Pro?
I learnt what the marking tool, was and how to use it. I also learnt how to see the audio of a video.

What are the differences to producing/editing a thriller and producing/editing a music video?
When editing the thriller, you could just cut bits out that you wanted, whereas with a music video, you have to use the marking tool, to mark everything out, which also includes marking to the beat of the song. With the thriller you couldn't really use jump cuts, because this would make it look a little weird. In the thriller, you couldn't cut to, this that and the other every second, however when editing a music video you can. The thriller had to be more precise and continuous, we even had to think about how to properly edit the match cuts. Whereas in the music video, things don't have to correspond as much.

Andrew Godwin

Andrew Goodwin's theory is that "The traditional narrative analyses, using ideas such as 'Todorov' don't actually apply to pop videos. The main reasons for this theory are;
  • Pop videos are based on the songs and do not have the traditional narrative structure.
  • Pop videos narratives are different from, prose, plays and films.
  • The Artist is usually the narrator and the character in the video
  • The Artist often looks directly into the camera, to 'interact' and to connect with the viewer.
Pop videos also rely on the use of repetition. The video often repeats scenes/images in the way that the song repeats the chorus or certain lines. The repetition in songs, or parts of the rhythm help us to identify the genre of the song. Therefore this helps us to intertexuality identify other songs in the same way.

Pop song and videos have closure and an ending. 3 minute singles must end and this is reflected in the structure of the music. This builds to a climax, before fading away.

Some videos are autonomous from the music they spring from. The visualisation of a song may go beyond the original meaning. Sometimes the video provides a visual pleasure, that encourages repeated viewing, which promotes the music.

There are three types of relations between songs and videos are:
  • Illustration
  • Amplification
  • Disjuncture
Illustration is where the video tells a story of the lyric. Nick Jonas - Who I Am
This is an American Pop Rock/Soft Rock/Teen Pop video, that appeals to a British audience as well as many other audiences. The lyrics suit the video, this is due to the videos content. The basis of the video is a section of him performing with his band along with shots of different people ranging from a Gothic girl, a disabled athlete to someone who had cancer that has existed for three generations of family. This shows they have hired 'Real life individuals to pose for living portraits that tell us who they are. There are also several shots of these people holding cards saying "Who I Am" this corresponds to the song. Then they flip the card after, to reveal a simple statement of their identity, including himself identifying himself as a diabetic. This makes the video rateable to more audiences, as the song is about loving someone for who they are and what they do. The music video also backs up what the artist says the song is about:“it’s about how I want someone to love me for my passion for music. It’s all I’ve ever thought about "Who I Am is really about me talking about myself and realizing you need to know yourself before you can find love."

Disjuncture is when there is little connection between the lyrics and the video or where the video contradicts the lyrics. The Drums - Best Friend
This is an "Indie Pop" video, the video has little connection with the lyrics. At the start of the video, Jacob, Connor and Adam are in a room waiting for Jonathan, this links with the lyric "Everyday I waited for you", this then contradicts itself as Jonathan arrives through the window and picks up the mic. As the band are all in a room performing together and the lyrics state "You're my best friend and then you die" this also contradicts the lyrics, as all the band members, who you'd assume to be "best friends" are all together. However, when the song is coming to an end, the rest of the band members pack up and leave Jonathan alone in the room, this could perhaps be a link between the line "You would always drift away" implying that they are going away without him forever, as then he would wait "everyday for you" /them.

Amplification is when the video introduces new meanings that do not contradict the lyrics but add layers of meaning. Two Door Cinema Club - Come Back Home

This is a British Indie Rock music video. The video shows the story of an car accident that has taken place. The video then divides into three panels to illustrate what the three band members had been doing separately, before hand. This repeats three times, in the eyes of all three members of the band, however each time it repeats, they are doing each others day. The lyric "Another Saturday, Another careless move" at the start of the video indicates
The lyric " To find another way" corresponds with the video, as it shows the band members all taking different ways.

Music Video Analysis

The artist and video that I will be analysing is One Night Only - Say You Don't Want It.

Narrative:
The narrative to the video is that the lead singer George Craig is with the rest of the band, in New York, when George spots his lover. She seems to also be unsure about the things that he could show her/give to her, but she is indecisive as she tries to walk away from him. He persists and follows her around New York, with his band not to far behind, also implying "say you don't want it" and he'll go. Meaning, that if she doesn't want, what he'll show her "the plastic made dreams".  In other words, the narrative is George is singing to his lover to try and titillate her into joining him and his life of "big screens" and "the plastic-made dreams". He's basically boasting "look - this is what you could have". Singing in a breathy, icy tone, he sings about someone who "Talk all the talk with a poet style/Tongue like electric, eyes like a child", and who "Buys all your wives and the classic cars/Die on the front page, just like the stars".

Genre:
The genre of this, is Indie Rock/Pop. This is shown through the style of the video. It is clean cut, the costumes worn by the band - Skinny Jeans, leather shoes, shirts, help to establish the genre. Also by Emma Watson starring in the video, you can tell that the genre is Indie or Pop as she would look out of place, say in a Grime video, as she looks like a private school type of girl.

Representation:
In this video, the lead singer, George is chasing after the girl (Emma Watson), it shows another side to music and the way males and females conduct themselves. For example, If this was a metal video, then Emma would be dressed in a completely different way. In this video, the female may seem as if she's in charge, as the male is following her. However there are scenes where the band are laughing around as he leaves the girl and she just stands there looking cold, lost, venerable and scared. The video represents George as a hero, as seemingly Emma seem like a girl who is lost in the city, whereas he knows where he is going.

Media Language; Camera & Mise En Scene:
The music video opens with shots from all over New York city, this establishes where the video is set. The mise en scene shows New York city during the day time, with lots of people out and about. The shots then show the band playing, the lighting is softer and the sun is setting the background, suggesting that the day is drawing to a close. The mise on scene shows the band are playing on a rooftop or a skate park, it is hard to tell this as there is a very quick long shot, that shows the rest of the band, for a snapshot of a second. The shots are then directed at a girl (Emma Watson) she clearly is out of place, due to what she is wearing, which is; a big fur coat, black top, black trousers and black shoes. When in the other shots that reveal what the people of New York are wearing,; light colours. This suggests that there is something about her, which will be revealed a little later on in the video. There are lots of tracking shots, to make it seems as if we are walking with the band, the long shots make it easy to establish what part of New York the band are in, as they walk, however as it is dark, it is hard to tell. The night lights of New York, help to set the scene.
There is an upbeat tone to the video, as the shots change with the beat at the start of the video. There are lots of The continuous edit, sees the transition throughout day to night. There are lots of match cuts with the George and Emma, especially when they first meet, the way this is match cut, is perhaps humours to the audience. The match cuts could also perhaps to show the relationship between the two. The cuts have a slow pace, this is to show the audience the location.

Lip sync ( planning)

 Lip sync tutorial:

In this tutorial:
we learn how to lips sync and how to match our videos with the actual lyrics of an arist. The key to a successful lip sync is to actually sing the song. This results in more of a realistic and accurate view of the finished product. There are two ways in which to match your video with the original lyics.
1. Match it by visual by matching the lips with the sound 2. The easiest way is to match it up by earing and using markets.

The follow video shows the method.

 Lip syncing activity.

Brief:
My group was given an hour to prefect a lip sync to the song 'Boogie night'.  We had to have examples of a variety of different shots types and angles. This meant we had to film the same thing several times.

New skills:
In this excercise i learnt how to match the lip sync video we have made with the original song.

Challenging:
I found remember the words to a song that i didn't know existed in an hour very challenging. However in places we're i didn't when i didn't know the words i just danced because i knew it would be usefull when it came to the editing.

Difference between editing a music video and thriller:
The difference is with the thriller we had to worry alot about continuity errors and match cuts. However with the music video non of that matters you can just keep cutting to different locations and shots. Also there is alot more rapid cuts in the music video than the thriller. Additionally we had to edit the music video with the beat, this didn't apply with the thriller.

Andrew goodwin theory and example videos (research)

Andrew goodwin the structure of music video rethinking narrative analysis.

The main points of Andrew Goodwin's theory on music videos are:
Andrew beleives that traditional narrative analysis don't really apply to pop videos.Reasons are
  • Pop videos appoach narrative from different views to novels and films.
  • Pop videos are based around songs and often do not portrays traditional narrative structures.
  • Artist are used as narrator and as a character
  • Artist often looks directly into the camera. This is to interact with the audience.
Futhermore pop videos rely on repetition. The use of repetition in pop videos of parts or rythms of other song results in making the audience familar with the genre and having a certain standard for artist or songs.

Pop songs/videos do have a clear closure and ending of the narrative. 3minute singles must have an end and often reflects in the structure of the music. Result in Climax or constant repitition.

The visual aspect of the song may go further beyond the intending meaning. Videos are often used eye candy to often promote other commodities for example films.

Pop videos are easily recognised by the stylistic features that are used. Woman are represented as objects of male desires. Some female artist perposely represented themselves as eye candy for when (Beyonce and Modonna).

Some videos different objects represents different instruments.
Videos thats tries to appeal to a more mainstream audience faces a risk of alienating the core target audience.

To conclude videos song writers in movies often shows clips and images of the movie within there video.

Example of :
Illustration: The video tells the story of the lyrics  - Giggs ft B.o.B - Dont go there
This is a British rap video that also appeal with the American audience because the location cuts between somewhere in America and in the streets of Peckham and it also features an American artist. This suits the category because the lyrics and the videos match for example when he said "the true religion jeans match the ralph" (ralph lauren shoes) . Furthmore the the lyrics are saying and video is showing you that you can't go in to certain areas because it has a bad reputation. Additionally it's also saying dont judge us because you dont know what our lifes are like because the media portrays us in such a bad way that you would want to come and find out.

Amplication Video introduces new meanings that contradict with the lyrics but add its other meaningful values. - 50cent many many men
This is a rap video and it fits the category because the video and the lyrics tells the story of when he got shot. Also the lyrics is dark and so is the video. furthermore the video shows when he was getting shot his enermies were celebrating because he they thought they killed him, they were sadly mistaken this is adding a new layer because it didn't match with the lyrics but it didnt controdict it. Additionally another new layer of meaning in the video is that the guys that was involved in his shooting was caught and they "taken care of" as you can see by the inplication that he was found in the boot of a car. Also the two other guy got shot several times, prosumably dead. Which matches his lyrics because he said "what goes around comes around". So this implies that he had something to do with the fact that they "aint breathing" which is introdcing a new meaning through video.

Disjuncture: Disjuncture connection between the lyrics and video or where the video contradict the lyrics  - Bob Marley - No woman no cry
This is a raggae video that has a little connect which is when we see a CU of someone that looksas if they are are crying. Additionally the only other connect to the lyrics is that the video is slow and sad because they are not dancing and they look very emotional in the video, exception for the ending were it gets more upbeat and Bob starts dancing and jumping around. Apart from that the video is just of Bob Marley performing on stage and there are no strong connection between the video and lyrics because throughout i do not see a woman crying.

Music video analysis (research)

Music video analysis

The artist and video i am analysing is: Mz Bratt - who do you think you are

Narrative:
The narrotive of the video is that she is in a club and lots of guys are coming up to her trying to move to her (trying it on which results in gettting her number or blackberry pin). However she does not appreciate it when guys or anyone infact pull her arm. So she shows her frustration by walking off and sitting in many different places because so many man dem keeps coming up to her(so many guys keeps approaching her).

Genre:

Grime electro. You can tell this because most grime artist are in london where this video is clear set with a club scene, graffiti and guys doing tricks on there bikes which gives it an urban feel. Also she is dressed in very urban clothing which suits the genre. Addionally the presents of other famous grime artist like Wretch 32, D double E, Donaeo, Bashy and a few others establish that this is a grime video. You can tell this is electro because of the beat and her vocals. The beat has electronic sounds not at all natural and the vocals seems to be syNthesis.
SYNTHESIS: not a natural sound

Representation:
This video gives a very realistic view on females because in other genres like RnB they'd be all naked booty shaking and what not but in this video t
hey are fully clothed and they are not being dismembered. Even thought this videos is dominated by females they are not scene in a sexual way, they are seen as independant because she doesn't need to be with someone of the opposite gender to have fun. Additionally this video gives young adults a good look because even though there are alot of them which is normally seen in the media as being a gang and being up to no good, in this video they are just dancing and enjoying themselves without doing anything illegal. However in this video males are seen as a sexual preditor because throughout the video you will see a number of different males interacting with Mz Bratt.

Media language:

camera & mise en scene:

The scene opens with a close up of an iphone were you can see Mz Bratt invite on the screen by. The font is quite playfull and broken up which gives a urban look. The colours are white, light green, light blue and black, these are nutual colours not masculine or femining. So this tells us that the artist is not a girly girl but she't not a tomboy. Additionally the use of the iphone makes the video and the artist looks very modern because most teenagers and young adults these days has a smart phone. This is appealing to the target audience.
Furthmore there is a medium shot of the hamersmith and city line going pass in the opening so this establishes the setting. Also it's night time and there is a tracking shot of a line of people mostly young females around the age of 18-20 which is around the age of the target audience.
Also there are lots of close ups and medium shots of Mz Bratt to show that we are meant to identify with her. In a close up we can see she's wearing big hooped earrings the impact shows the lifestyle that she has which is urban. Media long shot we can see she has on a black sparking jacket, black top with pink writing, black jeans, hippy chain with the female symbole on it this reprsents that she is a bit of a feminist, diva and argigant in a way she's what males are in there videos. Also the fact that she is wearing all black which is associated with having power and authority adds to this. By having CU,MS and Ls of everyone including Mz Bratt gives a sense of equality and that no one is being dismembered. Mz bratt is represented again as being a diva because there are alot of long shots of guys talking to her but she has a lack of interest.

Edit:
Throughout the video there are lots of rapid cuts which matches with the beat. However the cuts are not as rapid when Mz Bratt is on screen. So this shows that she is important and all the attention is on her. Also there are alot of match cuts on Mz bratt which again forces us to identify with her. Additionally when the men are in the frame the cuts are more rapid then females . This again gives the video a feminist view because Males are not giving as much air time as females which shows that this video is bias. The white lights that appears across the video gives a sense of superstardom. Also the connotation we have with white are purity and innocent, which contrast with that fact that she's wearing all black which represents power and unknown, so it gives a recognition of balance between mysteriousness and purity. Furthmore from time to time the video repeats bits of footage with even more rapid cuts to match with the beat. Also the manipulation of time on the male participants to illustrate there reation to the Mz bratt.

Sound:
The dialogue used throughout this video is london slang which again establishes the genre of the music. This matches the target audience which are 15-25 which are the only ones who would understand the sort of languages she uses in her video. Also the beat matches the genre because its a upbeat and rythmic instrumental which matches with the club scene of the video and the target audience. Additionally the lyrics gives females a role model to look up to because t young females these days tend to be more open to having underage or just sexual contact with anyone and are easily influence by other artist who in there videos are dancing (wining & grinding) with boys in a sexual way.
