Advert analysis ( research)

First of all i'd like to say it is very unconventional for a grime artist to make an advert promotion there albums. However when they do it's for a single for the main stream audience.

The poster below is for Skepta's single 'Sunglasses At Night'. Even though this single is not on the album be there done that, as you can see the font and the composition is the same is still the same. For example you got the artist name at the top, and the title at the bottom underneath each other just like on his album cover. This single is for a club scene which it matches with the bright colours ( orange, blue and red), then you got the sunglasses in the middle to emphasise the meaning of the lyrics which is about sun glasses. Again this shows the playfulness of the grime genre because if you look at the sunglasses it reminds me of old 3D cinemas glasses with the red and blue lenses. This relates to the target audience because 15-25 are attracted by bright colours and it say's that we can download it which is what most or every teenage do in this day and age.

Above is while poster for play time is over, this is expected of him because he's always braking the rules so this is not surprising. This is a direct link with his album cover same front cover, font and colour scheme. It has the release date on the left hand side and website which matches  the audience because all teenages that listen to this genre will be going on the internet. To show how different wiley is, on the left hand side those are stickers that you can use for your own personal use.
