Inital Digipak Ideas

For my digipak, I will use a variety of photos and stills from the video. I plan to make either a four panel or six panel digipak. This mock up is for the idea that I have for my four panel.

The front panel will have the artist at the location that he is rapping, this might be a medium shot, as I want to get in the back ground with the artist, but not too much of it. This will help the audience to identify the artist and the location from the video. It will have the artists name large above the track title. I haven't decided on a proper font just yet.
The back panel will have either one of the sub characters holding up a board, which will then say the track listings.
The inside panel, will have the iconic clock as the clock will be a running moift for the thank yous.. This will have the thank yous, however I am still undecided about this, so this may change.
The fourth panel, where the disc usually goes, will have all the boards from the video arranged on a white background, this will be a medium/long shot, depending on what angle it is taken from.

Location : Canary Wharf & Photos from filming sessions (Production)

Sttill images from filming in Canary Wharf

When we got to our location we found that it was too light to film what we intended. With the bright lights reflecting on to the water which you will see below in this blog. In these photographs we were filmimg in the shopping mall. Which we had permission for. This worked well with our ideas because the escalators symbolising that the artist is going up not just literally but in life, even though we filmed going down aswel.
Below you can see  a series of clocks. These were very interesting because there was 6 different clocks that have one number on each side of it. These will work well in our video because it has a direct link to the lyrics.

In these pics we we're filming at the fountain in canary wharf this was a beautiful scener because the water was lit and you could see canary wharf backgroud.

Below we was filming a statues and it look as if i was talking to them. This looked fantastic when i was doing the lryics.

The these photographs we discovered a new feature in canary wharf which is a giant tv that has adverts going across. We thought this was a good idea because it had one of our idea on it which was to have people flipping a card with words saying it's my time.

In this shoot we was filming on a a really wide wall this was a good shot because again we had canary wharf arisen.

How to make "It's My Time" T-shirts

We wanted to either buy or create a shirt that said "It's My Time". So I looked up some tutorials on youtube as to how to this. The tutorials were helpful, as when we made our own it was easy to do, as I knew what we were doing. The videos show two different ways to make a shirt, we decided to use the second way, as it was easier and would take less time.

Mise-En-Scene/Costume (Planning)

Theses are possible costumised T-shirts our artist could wear in the making of the video.

In this design, we had the logo of the UK in a playful arty way. This was done to match with the lyrics. The font is playful but not childish with a mixture of colour blue. We chose these colours because it is represented with being cool and fresh.

In this design, we wanted it to link with the video, as you can see by the logo which we made into a clock. We also wanted to keep the design simple not just because of the price but because i think it works well with the concept of the video. For the font I went with a stencils look to add to the playful and the coolness of the artist.
